Tony Cyriac

Enterprise Chief Data & Analytics Officer BMO Financial Group

Tony Cyriac is the Chief Data & Analytics Officer for BMO Financial Group since May 1, 2018.

In this role, he leads the Enterprise Data & Artificial Intelligence (EDAI) function that builds and

evolves BMO’s enterprise data analytics and AI technology capabilities and supports the

implementation of BMO’s data governance and AI operating model and the adoption of BMO’s

modernized analytics platform. Tony and his team align with company-wide initiatives and work

with business group and corporate partners across BMO to support the Bank’s regulatory,

customer experience and growth agenda.

Previous to this role, Tony led the deployment of BMO’s data governance activities in the United

States as U.S. Chief Data Officer, as well as leading BMO’s advanced analytics capabilitybuilding

efforts in support of the bank’s growth agenda.

Prior to joining BMO in April 2015, Tony was the Managing Director for Enterprise Data &

Analytics at G.E. Capital where he led the build of Enterprise Data & Analytics platforms.

Prior to G.E. Capital, he was with Oracle leading the Global Business Team, Solution

Consulting & Delivery teams for their financial services data management & analytics products.

Tony has a Bachelor of Technology degree from the National Institute of Technology (Calicut) in

India. He is also a member of the International Society of Chief Data Officers.
