Russell Newman

Russell is a Managing Director who is responsible for the strategic oversight and implementation of the firms’ operations, performance, risk, and information technology. He is a voting member of the firms’ Management Committee and member of the Trade Management Oversight, GIPS, Proxy, BCP, Valuation, Trade Error, Vendor Assessment and Conflicts committees. He joined the Firm in 2016 and the industry in 2002. Previously, Russell worked at Times Square Capital Management overseeing operations and performance, and, before that, at EMS Capital, L.P., Hawkstone Capital, Bear Stearns Asset Management, Elliot Management and Pricewaterhouse Coopers auditing clients in the asset management industry. Russell has a BS in Accounting, Finance, and Operations Management from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. He holds the Certificate in Performance Measurement (“CIPM”).
