In June 2019, the White House Office of Management and Budget released the highly anticipated Federal Data Strategy. This initiative underscores the next generation of data usage on a very large scale. How will government work with tremendous volumes of data to harness value? Nancy Potok, Formerly Chief Statistician of the United States, U.S. Office of Management and Budget is a co-lead on the cross-agency data goal. Nancy will discuss how the federal government is organizing agencies to leverage value from data, including: 

  • Structures for the CDO and the role of the CDO Council
  • Key components to the strategy, including open data and evidence building
  • Opportunities to increase efficiencies and economic growth
