Robi Krempus

Head of Analytics John Hancock Investments

Robi Krempus is Assistant Vice President, and Head of Analytics at John Hancock Investments (JHI). In his role, Robi is instrumental in making JHI a data driven organization by applying data science, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive distribution efficiency. He and his team built up an analytics data warehouse, predictive model architecture as well as ML algorithm portfolio in-house, and apply it across sales, marketing and product.

Before joining JHI in 2013, Robi gained extensive management consulting experience by implementing Asset Liability Management solutions across commercial banks, as well as conducting Malcom Baldridge Award Performance assessments in the technology industry. He started his career as a control system engineer modeling thermo-dynamical behavior at a nuclear power plant. 

Robi is passionate about applying complex systems thinking into the financial services space. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland as well as a M.S. in Finance from Bentley University.
