Rob Casper

Firmwide and CIB Chief Data Officer JPMorgan Chase

Rob Casper is currently the Firmwide Chief Data Officer and the Corporate & Investment Bank Chief Data Officer.

Rob’s prior experience includes serving as Chief Data Officer for GE Capital where he was responsible for enterprise data management. He joined GE Capital in 2014 after 20+ years at Morgan Stanley where he was most recently managing director with responsibilities for both Enterprise Data as well as the Financial Holding Company ("FHC") Governance Program. Rob started with Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equity Division to form a risk management group in 1994, and later held a succession of leadership roles in Risk, IT and Data. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Rob was an associate with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

Rob graduated from Columbia University and earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He served as the publisher of two editions of "The Columbia Guide to New York" while studying at Columbia. Rob lives in Westchester, NY with his wife Laurie and three children Max, Haley and Emerson.
