Richard Goldberg

Richard Goldberg is the Managing Director and Chief Data Officer at the Bank of China. His responsibilities include driving the data governance, data quality and information security management strategy for the Bank. He has over 25 years executive data management and technology experience, primarily in large global financial services organizations.

Over his career, Mr. Goldberg has held various senior data leadership positions for many Organizations including GE Capital, Citibank, Hewlett Packard and IBM. As the Chief Data Governance Officer for Citibank, Mr. Goldberg successfully led the effort to establish a bank-wide data governance and data quality program for the Global Consumer Bank. Prior to Citibank, Mr. Goldberg worked for Hewlett Packard Consulting, where he was a Senior Principal Consultant on Data Management and Data Governance. Prior to joining Hewlett Packard, Mr. Goldberg spent considerable time in his career with IBM corporate, leading the global data management and data governance program.
