As Executive Vice President of Strategy and Marketing, Reed Irvin is responsible for the overall corporate strategy, brand management, communications and integrated marketing efforts for OnPointe®, Viewpointe’s robust information governance solution, and the company’s industry leading check archive. Irvin has also held titles of Executive Vice President of Strategy, Product Development and Marketing; Senior Vice President of Product Development and Corporate Strategy; and Vice President of Corporate Strategy at the company. With more than 20 years of industry experience in records management and information governance, Irvin regularly speaks and writes on the subject. Prior to joining Viewpointe in 2012, Irvin served as Vice President, Information Governance for Autonomy, an HP company. Irvin founded On-Line Records Storage in Los Angeles, one of the first commercial offsite storage companies to offer real-time remote access to information. Irvin also served as General Manager for Recall, Inc. (now Iron Mountain) a global Records Management and Document Management provider and Chief Operating Officer of a leading records management software and services firm. He is an active member of the EDRM, currently chairs the IGRM (Information Governance Reference Model) and has been a member of ARMA International for more than 25 years. Irvin graduated with a BA in economics and business administration from Westminster College.
