Rajsaday Dutt

Raj is the Divisional Data Officer for Capital One’s Commercial Banking Division, where he leads the organization's Data and AI strategy. His team is responsible for developing a deep understanding of customer needs and driving product strategy and innovation across real-time data, data standardization, controls, reporting infrastructure, systems of record, and machine learning.

During his nearly 20-year tenure at Capital One, Raj has held several pivotal leadership roles. He spearheaded Commercial Card Product Development, led the introduction of the Small Business Card’s Spark brand and product suite, and scaled US Card’s Online Marketing from a nascent business into one of Capital One’s dominant acquisition channels. Across these domains, Raj and his teams have driven numerous critical innovations, resulting in multiple key patents.

Raj holds an MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Systems Design from Bombay University. He is also a Chartered Accountant and previously spent six years as a forensic accountant, as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor of Statistics at VCU.
