Nicole Brooks

Nicole Brooks is Head of Data Governance and Policy for Royal Bank of Canada’s IHC and its combined US operations. Prior to joining in 2017, she was Head of Group Data Quality at HSBC where she was instrumental in building what the Monitor deemed as an Industry Leading Data Quality framework. She has vast regulatory transformation experience where she worked on the core team to craft the Resolution Plan at Barclays in 2013 and held various senior regulatory, risk, data, and control positions at Citigroup. Nicole entered the financial services industry 20 years ago working in automotive finance at GMAC. She holds a Bachelor’s in Pre-law/Political Science from James Madison residential college at Michigan State University and a Master’s in International Applied Economics from Eastern Michigan.
