Vice President & Head, Diabetes and CV Scientific Communications - North America Sanofi

Meg Heim as VP, Head of NA DCV Scientific Communications, is a key member of the Diabetes/Cardiovascular (DCV) Business Unit and reports into the Country Medical Chair and the North America Medical Lead for DCV. Meg’s role participates as a member of various Global teams and committees to further strengthen and globalize the DCV franchises.

Meg is responsible for crafting and executing the integrated North America DCV Scientific Communications strategy.  She is responsible to define, manage and lead the communications activities across NA DCV Medical, including publications strategy, home and field medical communications as well as therapeutic area Outcomes Liaison communications for North America.  Responsible for cultivating partnerships with cross-functional partners such as clinical development, regulatory, program management, market access, global medical and marketing and external partners to provide leadership in successful development and execution of the DCV NA scientific communications.

Meg has held officer roles and executive global sales and marketing positions with a number of healthcare, medical device and health information technology companies. 

Meg is a Registered Nurse, holds a Bachelors in Public Administration, and a Masters in Administrative Science, with Post Masters certificates in Non-Profit Organizational Development and Global Leadership from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
