Martin M. Hosseini

Senior Vice President, CNB Data Office City National Bank

Martin Hosseini is the Head of Data Office for City National Bank (a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)). In his role at the City National Bank, Martin is responsible for building out the data governance, data quality and data management capabilities to effectively address data-related demands; prepare the bank to comply with various regulations; and contribute to bank’s objectives as well as strategic business priorities. Additionally, he is responsible for harmonizing the second line of defense across the Risk Management functions.

Prior to joining City National Bank, Martin spent 20+years helping financial services and manufacturing companies including the Capital Group, Bank of America, and GE. Martin holds a doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership and a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from California State University.
