Head of Data Governance CBRE Investment Management

Jess Baker is the Head of Data Governance for CBRE Investment Management, focusing on setting and realizing the firm’s Data Governance strategy.  In this role, she is responsible for initiatives that improve the trustworthiness of our data assets - by establishing policies & procedures that support consistency, accuracy, and discoverability of data for IM professionals. Jess joined CBREIM in 2019 from Bloomberg, where she helped lead their Fixed Income Data Governance framework. While there, her primary responsibility was to modernize their quality assurance program to obtain golden copy reference data. Jess earned a Master of Finance degree from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Elizabethtown College. She is an accredited data management professional, holding a CDMP Master designation. Jess serves on the board of directors for OSCRE International.
