Denise Letcher

Denise M. Letcher is executive vice president, chief data officer for PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. In this role, she leads Enterprise Data Management which includes Data Strategy, Governance and Control, and effective utilization of information assets. Letcher also serves as the Director of Corporate Insurance.

Letcher’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the enterprise data warehouse, analytics infrastructure investment and delivery, business information architecture (data governance, data quality and remediation), as well as data risk. Additionally, as Director of Corporate Insurance, she ensures the group provides risk balanced insurance solutions.

Letcher has over 26 years of experience in the financial sector. Prior to rejoining PNC in 2010, she was the Director of Risk Management Technology for both Wachovia and Wells Fargo. In those positions, she was responsible for compliance and operational risk, technology and information strategy.

She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics, with a concentration in accounting.
