Clara Chan Farnsworth

Clara Chan Farnsworth is Vice President of Enterprise Data Governance and Quality at Wellington Management Company. She drives the adoption and implementation of the Firm’s enterprise data enablement and analytics vision and strategy, in partnership with technology resources. The team strives to enable employees to readily find, understand, trust, and access data and generate data-driven insights. Clara’s role requires wearing multiple hats as motivator, idea generator, change agent, problem solver, data literacy educator, continuous student, and a data therapist. She is Chair of the Firm’s Data Integrity Risk Group, a member of the Firm’s Data Architecture Board, and a member of the Firm’s North America Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining Wellington in 2011, Clara held a variety of data management and consultant roles at Bank of New York Mellon, Batterymarch Financial Management, and Fidelity Investments. Clara earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees from Babson College. She is a 2022 Participant in the McKinsey Asian Leadership Academy and a 2019 Fellow from the Partnership, Inc. Leadership Development Program.
