Doug Mehne

Managing Director, Data as a Service BNY Mellon

Douglas E. Mehne has 27 years of experience in the financial services industry.  At BNY Mellon he is Head of Data as a Service for Asset Servicing, responsible for the development, execution, and scaling of this business.  

Doug’s roles at State Street Corporation included Senior Managing Director of Global Markets, and Global Sales Management positions across Global Markets and Global Link. He was Head of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Finaplex, an early stage provider of enterprise software solutions for the private wealth management industry. At Reuters, Doug held progressive senior management positions where he attained the Executive Vice President position for Global Accounts. 

Doug earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Husson University in Bangor, Maine, with additional professional development at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. 

Doug served on the Board of Directors of the Tower Group. He is a Trustee of The Nature Conservancy – Rhode Island Chapter.  He is also Treasurer and Board Director of the Donaldson Adoption Institute.
