Shaun Rankin

Senior Vice President, Data Management Citizens Bank

Shaun is Senior Vice President of Data Management Operations. He is responsible for Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality and Metadata teams. In this capacity he is driving adoption of Citizens Bank’s enterprise data assets. His leadership role includes:

• Delivering the Master Data Management stewardship capabilities responsible for all customer relationships.
• Chairperson of the Data Trustee Advisory board responsible for improving the quality of Customer, Account and Transaction data.
• Partnering with Compliance and Audit as First Line of Defense responsible for establishing data management policy, measuring adherence to policy, and assisting data trustees in identifying and mitigating data related risks.
• Working with technology in delivering project portfolio sponsored by data office.

Shaun received his Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Dayton. He currently volunteers with Life Teen, Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, St. Barnabas, and Cleveland Metroparks.
