Head of Global Data Services Allianz Global Investors

Larry Russell is the Head of Global Data Services at Allianz Global Investors. He is responsible for the firm’s Data Governance and Data Architecture practices. Larry joined Allianz Global Investors in 1996 and has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Prior to his Global Data Services role in 2015, Larry led US and global IT projects for Allianz Global Investors in support of Operations, Sales and Client Service, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Compliance, specializing in enterprise data management, data warehouse solutions, business intelligence, market data, client and product reporting, performance measurement and attribution, accounting, trading, trade settlement and CRM. Larry was also a senior consultant at Accenture for 4 years. Larry has a BS in Finance from San Diego State University and also completed an International Business program at the University of Copenhagen.
