Des Gallacher

Head of Investment Technology Eaton Vance

Desmond Gallacher is a vice president of Eaton Vance Management and division head of investment technology. He is responsible for strategic direction, implementation and support of investment systems and data. He joined Eaton Vance in 2014.

Des began his career in the investment management industry in 1999. Before joining Eaton Vance, he was vice president of product management at Charles River Development, where he led product strategy, road map planning, and design and development of for the leading enterprise trading platform (OMS/EMS). Previously, he was global product head - data management and analytics with DST Global Solutions.

Des earned a BSc from Glasgow Caledonian University.
