Kirsten Elsworth is the Director of Data Management & Analytics for the Insurance Division of Ally Financial. She started her career as an actuarial intern, trading in math books for a love of data. With a BS in Applied Technology from Eastern Michigan University, Kirsten has been able to apply the rigor of her mathematics and data management background, with a practical, logical approach to solve various problems across the organization. Ms. Elsworth's team would tell you that she is the self-proclaimed, 'World's Greatest Analyst', as she thoroughly enjoys the moments when she gets to dig-in and help solve a tough problem with her team. She has designed and implemented multiple reporting and data warehouse solutions, including a $12M Global Data Warehouse. After a complete system overhaul in 2011, Ms. Elsworth reestablished a Data Management Team focused on learning, maintain and growing an entirely new policy and claim administration system, financial sub-ledger, Reinsurance System, and Data Warehouse. Jennifer Curtiss leads the Enterprise Data Governance office for American Express. Jen has 15 years of experience in creating enterprise data governance programs, focusing on strategy, data quality, data standards, change management and program implementation. Prior to leading the Enterprise Data Governance office, Jen served as the head of Data Quality, where she led the design and development of the data quality measurement and remediation program.
Prior to joining American Express, Jen lead the Data Quality efforts for the Chief Data Office at Citibank and developed the data quality program for the company’s Financial Data Warehouse, named the Best Data Management Initiative by the 2013 American Financial Technology Awards. Allie (Grassie) Harris joined Bank of Montreal’s Data Governance & Analytics team as the Senior Director, Data Governance – Canadian P&C, Wealth, and Capital Markets. Allie and her team support Data Governance communities in Canada.
Allie has been involved in data in various forms over the course of her career, most recently as the Senior Director with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) in Enterprise Process Management and Analytics area, a new department providing metrics and measurement of processes in an end-to-end fashion. Previous roles within CIBC include data management, governance and analytics for the Wholesale Banking area.
Allie also served as the liaison for the bank’s data communication and outreach strategy, which includes internal stakeholder engagement and marketing as well as participation in national and international financial data and trade associations. She has worked closely with the Enterprise Data Management Council, a financial industry-focused semantics and data organization. She sits on the International Standards Organization Technical Committee 68, Working Group 6 (LEI), co-convenes the ISO TC68 Standards Advisory Group, and sits on the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Steering Committee for Legal Entity Identification. She was part of the industry delegation to the Financial Stability Board meeting on LEI in Basel in 2011, where agreement was reached on the creation of a Global LEI standard. Allie has been involved in standards for many years, from health informatics, semantics and messaging, as Secretariat for HL7 Canada, and she is the Vice-President of the Information Resource Management Association of Canada.

H. Brian Diener, Managing Director, is a member of BlackRock's Aladdin Portfolio Services Team within Business Operations and is responsible for managing, improving, and expanding global operations for the Investment Services area which includes Data Integrity, Pricing, Index, Analytics, and Reporting. Mr. Diener has direct responsibility for the global security data integrity group 'DIG', and serves as the business manager for Investment Services. Mr. Diener is also a member of the Valuation Oversight Committee, and co-chairs the Data Governance Committee.
Mr. Diener's service with the firm dates back to 2005. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Diener was an Information Technology Leader at GE Private Asset Management responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing technology strategy for an asset management provider of separate accounts, mutual funds and annuities. Previously, he was a Black Belt and Master Black Belt working within the Six Sigma Quality Group to improve technical processes across various GE business units including Genworth (GE Insurance), GE Appliances, GE Capital, GE Corporate, and NBC Universal. Mr. Diener joined GE in 1997 and spent two years in the Information Management Leadership Program. In 2004 Mr. Diener completed General Electric's Executive Information Management Program.

Alex Golbin, CFA, Managing Director, is the Global Head of BlackRock Data Services. This group provides centralized data support for the Firm, and serves the dual mission of supporting BlackRock and BlackRock Solutions (BRS) clients through overseeing Security Master, Client, Portfolio and Retail Flows Data, as well as Pricing, Index, Risk and Analytics Reporting, Performance and Attribution. BDS teams ensure comprehensive Quality Assurance and timely delivery of all information relevant to investment and risk professionals while running a scalable and efficient operational process on over $17T of BlackRock and BRS assets. Mr. Golbin is a member of the Business Operations Leadership Committee.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2005, Mr. Golbin was a Principal in Banc of America Securities' Fixed Income Credit Strategy group. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers Fixed Income Research department. Mr. Golbin joined Lehman Brothers in 1994, and became responsible for producing Global Family of Fixed Income Indices. Previously, Mr. Golbin spent three years as a systems analyst with Siemens Corporation.
In 2005 he was elected to the Board of Directors of FIASI, the Fixed Income Analysts Society, and as the President in 2008/2009. Mr. Golbin earned a MS degree, with distinction, in computer science from Hofstra University in 1996

Lucien joined BNY Mellon in 2017 as Head of Fintech Strategy & Partnerships, where he is responsible for executing corporate-level strategic partnerships with technology companies globally. Before joining BNY Mellon, he was with J.P. Morgan, leading strategic partnerships with big data and cloud technology companies. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Foster was a senior member of the Corporate Strategy team at NASDAQ, where he executed M&A transactions and cross-border strategic partnerships with marketing infrastructure, exchanges and technology firms. He began his career as a Mergers & Acquisitions banker in San Francisco and New York, focused on technology and capital markets.

Douglas E. Mehne has 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. At BNY Mellon he is Head of Data as a Service for Asset Servicing, responsible for the development, execution, and scaling of this business.
Doug’s roles at State Street Corporation included Senior Managing Director of Global Markets, and Global Sales Management positions across Global Markets and Global Link. He was Head of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Finaplex, an early stage provider of enterprise software solutions for the private wealth management industry. At Reuters, Doug held progressive senior management positions where he attained the Executive Vice President position for Global Accounts.
Doug earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Husson University in Bangor, Maine, with additional professional development at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.

Kristi Cunningham, Vice President Data Analysis at Capital One, leads the Enterprise Data Management team and Data Management Strategy and Program for the company. Salesky was formerly head of Schwab’s branch network. Jessica Chen is a Senior Vice President in Independent Compliance Risk Management at Citi Group, responsible for BCBS 239 compliance testing in data management and IT infrastructure.
Prior to joining the compliance group, Jessica was an audit manager at Citi Internal Audit, leading audits and risk assessments in Citi’s enterprise data governance and quality management. Before joining Citi, Jessica spent 8 years working in data and technology audit in the financial and pharmaceutical industries. She also led a technology team at Merrill Lynch providing IT support for the firm’s Global Custody business through developing and maintaining IT applications across a diverse domain of system architectures and technology platforms.
Director, Market Practice and Standards, Chair of ISO/TC 68 Financial Services
Karla McKenna is an international standards specialist in the area of financial services. Ms. McKenna is director of Market Practice and Standards at Citi and in this role drives development and adoption of financial services standards for Citi’s Securities businesses. Since May 2015, Ms. McKenna also has been seconded to the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) as the Head of Standards for the GLEIF. In this role, Ms. McKenna is responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of GLEIF standards and leveraging international standards from organizations such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to maximize data quality and the operational integrity of the Global LEI System (GLEIS).
Within the industry, Ms. McKenna is Chair of the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee 68 (ISO/TC 68), Financial services, Chair of the Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG), serves on the Board and Executive Committee of Accredited Standards Committee X9 (ASC X9) and recently has been chosen as a member of the inaugural Board of the Eurofiling Foundation. Ms. McKenna also has served on the Boards of the International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication (ISITC) and XBRL International.
Enterprise Data Quality Manager
Tolu is the Data Quality Leader for the Enterprise Data Quality department at Citizens bank. He is responsible for promoting and implementing data quality practices, processes and controls on Citizens data. This includes implementing data quality assessment, monitoring, remediation, and resolution activities to ensure that the data is fit for business purpose, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to identify and resolve data issues, and advancing data quality practices and tools.
Prior to Citizens Bank, Tolu worked at DuPont-Pioneer as a Senior Data Quality Professional where he promoted the adoption and use of Talend software across DuPont-Pioneer to assess the state of data quality, and implement processes to increase quality and value of data. Tolu designed, developed, and implemented over 40 data quality reconciliation/balancing audits on critical systems and processes, resulting in improved overall confidence in the data and reduction in exposure to regulatory compliance problems that can negatively impact profitability.

Martin Hosseini is the Head of Data Office for City National Bank (a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)). In his role at the City National Bank, Martin is responsible for building out the data governance, data quality and data management capabilities to effectively address data-related demands; prepare the bank to comply with various regulations; and contribute to bank’s objectives as well as strategic business priorities. Emmanuel Aidoo is Head of Distributed Ledger and Blockchain Strategy at Credit Suisse. He is responsible for leading the bank’s blockchain efforts for the Global Markets division.
Emmanuel joined Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette (DLJ) in 1997 from Caspian Securities as the EMEA IT Head for Emerging Markets. He remained with Credit Suisse after DLJ was acquired in August 2000, and has held a variety of senior roles including Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Technology, Global Head of Leverage Finance Technology, and Global Head of Solutions Delivery before leading Credit Suisse’s blockchain efforts since 2014.
He is Chair of SIFMA’s Blockchain Round Table and a Board Member of the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance. Emmanuel studied Computer Science at Brunel University in West London.

James “Chip” Masters is the head of Semantic Technology at Credit Suisse where he is responsible for the strategy and implementation of semantic data models and semantically normalized data within the Group CIO office. One primary driver of this work is to achieve compliance with BCBS 239 by building semantic models of critical regulatory business concepts and workflows, and map them through to the authoritative data sources used to generate compliance reports.
James has eight years’ experience working on compliance related technologies in financial services, and 18 years’ experience working on semantic data modeling and data analytics problems across numerous business areas, including aerospace engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, and intelligence analysis.

Andrew Foster is the Deputy Chief Data Officer – Americas for Deutsche Bank. Olga Maydanchik is an experienced practitioner and educator in the field of Information Management with particular interest in Data Quality and Analytics.
As a part of Chief Data Offices in Citi, AIG, and Deutsche Bank, Olga was focusing on designing and implementing the enterprise-wide Data Quality programs. Olga is a member of the Enterprise Data Management Council and actively participated in the design of the Data Management Maturity Model. Olga also co-authored the “Data Quality for Practitioners” educational program which provides comprehensive treatment of all data quality topics. Desmond Gallacher is a vice president of Eaton Vance Management and division head of investment technology. He is responsible for strategic direction, implementation and support of investment systems and data. He joined Eaton Vance in 2014.
Des began his career in the investment management industry in 1999. Before joining Eaton Vance, he was vice president of product management at Charles River Development, where he led product strategy, road map planning, and design and development of for the leading enterprise trading platform (OMS/EMS). John is a senior strategy and data management executive with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Veda Bawo serves as senior vice president and managing director of Enterprise Data Quality and the Enterprise Data Office’s program management. Veda was promoted to senior vice president in 2017.
Before joining Fifth Third Bank in 2016, Veda was the head of North America Wholesale’s Financial Reporting Quality at Rabobank (NY) where she was responsible for developing a quality assurance program over critical data, managing the data quality committee and ensuring the proper controls mitigated data quality risks. She served as a Data quality manager at GE Capital Americas (CT), starting their first data quality program.

Ryan Wilder is the US Head of Data Quality at HSBC North America Holdings Inc., the holding company for HSBC's operations in the United States. Jeb Avery is the Director of Investment Data Management at Janus Capital Group and has twenty years of experience in the financial services industry. Dr. Young is an expert in the fields of cybersecurity, Information Assurance and Operations (IAO) and cyber medicine. Presently he is a Principal Cyber Security Engineer at the MITRE Corporation, a not-for-profit company that operates multiple federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs). Dr. Young has been a professor at National Defense University (NDU) since 2002 teaching cybersecurity courses to our nation's future military and government leaders in addition to allied international students. Prior to that, he was Chief of 11th Wing Information Assurance Office, Air Force District of Washington, providing policy guidance, technical support, and security oversight of communication, computers, and classified emissions.
Dr. Young retired from the USAF after serving on active duty for 21 years, from an early beginning as an enlisted Airman @ seventeen, to serving in the Middle East during Desert Storm, then flying Special Air Missions (SAM) Aircrew for the White House, SECDEF, and other US government dignitaries and ultimately finished up his military career as a Commissioned Federal Medical Officer and professor at NDU.

David Saul is senior vice president and chief scientist at State Street Corporation, reporting to the chief information officer. Dr. Bauguess oversees the Division’s risk assessment and data-driven, predictive analytics development, designed to detect fraud and misconduct in the Commission’s investigation and examination programs, specifically in the areas of corporate issuers, broker- dealers, and asset managers. Prior to Xignite, Burdick served as Head of Client Management North America for Markit, leading a team responsible for managing the company’s enterprise software clients. Prior to Markit he was Vice President at S&P Capital IQ responsible for building partnerships and alliances to grow sales for the company’s large portfolio of complex enterprise data and analytics solutions. Ryan also has held senior sales positions at Standard and Poor’s. He graduated from St. Lawrence University Canton, NY.
Vice President, Reference Data Technology
Steve serves as Vice President of Data Operations for Opus. In this role, Steve is responsible for business entity mapping and data enrichment and the related product offerings, as well as the cross-referencing of more than 100 premium and public content sources and over 6 million entities. Steve joined Opus through the acquisition of Alacra, where he served as Vice President of Content Product Management & Data Operations.
Steve has over 20 years of experience in the financial information market including roles as a software developer, project manager and product manager at (then) Banque Paribas, Thomson Financial Services and FactSet Research Systems.
Steve earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and spent his first seven years after college as a Navy fighter pilot flying the F-14 Tomcat.
